West Waterford Festival of Food
Come and stay with us in East Cork this weekend and cross the county line into West Waterford as the Waterford Festival of Food kicks-off this Friday, 19th April and runs all weekend until Sunday, 21st April. We are on the border of Cork and Waterford. There is an impressive and delicious array of events from dining experiences, picnic river cruises, demos and talks, health and well-being events and markets in Dungarvan.

Craicly Stories at the West Waterford Festival of Food
Justin will be on the panel of Craicly Stories which will be held at Salterbridge House in Cappoquin on 20th April 2024. This event is part of the West Waterford Festival of Food celebrating local producers!

The Alternative St. Valentine’s Bash
Join us on Saturday, 17th February for the antithesis of the traditional Valentines night out. Instead of couples dining on their own, we will be hosting a long-table dinner where guests will sit together, feast, socialise and enjoy live entertainment from crooner Ronnie Costley who will be singing Sinatra and other Rat-Pack era faves. Perfect for couples, groups of friends and anyone else looking to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day slightly differently this year.

St. Brigid’s Day Bank Holiday Weekend

Or friend and fly-fishing legend Glenda Powell is launching the FISH-LIVE-LEARN with Glenda Powell Irish Salmon Challenge for the coming season. As keen conservationists and anglers ourselves (when time allows), we are delighted to support this event and we have donated a magnum of Sloe Bertha which the winner will receive along with lots of other fabulous prizes.

Autumn has definitely arrived in Ireland bringing with it all the changes of darker nights, scrunching golden leaves underfoot, floating layers of mist, sparkling spiders webs, musty scents of damp earth and woodsmoke, it can only be autumn.
