Christmas Boxed up with Ballyvolane House
Our boxes are back! From sloe gin cocktails to the Ballyvolane breakfast mugs, these gift boxes represent all things great about staying at Ballyvolane House. Or give one of our vouchers to a loved one, so they can enjoy the experience of Ballyvolane House for themselves.
We have created three one-of-a kind boxes. A huge amount of time and thought has gone into sourcing high quality items that compliment each other, and we have carefully put them together into a number of beautifully presented boxes. Some gifts are from the house itself accompanied by other fantastic treats from across Ireland and beyond!
They all have the theme of an indulgent stay at Ballyvolane House. These boxes can be sent throughout the island of Ireland.
Alternatively give one of our vouchers to a loved one, so they can enjoy the experience of Ballyvolane House for themselves.
Our gift vouchers can be sent out worldwide.

European Historic Houses feature Ballyvolane House in ‘House of the Month’
The European Historic Houses represents +50,000 private historic houses across Europe and the EHH has launched an initiative called ‘Houses of the Month’ which is an invitation to take part in a journey through the cultural heritage premises. With this new project, the EHH wants to offer their audience more than a guided tour. The objective is to spotlight the passion, talent, courage and hard work of our owners, as well as the importance of such buildings in our common history.
Ballyvolane House is part of Ireland’s privately-owned built heritage. Preserving built heritage in private hands in Ireland and across Europe is important work as they add enormously to our cultural and heritage landscape. Ballyvolane House is a member of the Historic Houses of Ireland.
Thank you to the EHH for giving us an opportunity to share our journey and to showcase how we are committed to preserving our home for the future.

Great Taste Awards 2 Gold Stars for Naval Bertha
Bertha’s Revenge Navy Strength picked up 2 Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards 2021. This is the highest score Ballyvolane House Spirits Company has achieved for their gin so far.
Great Taste is the largest and most trusted accreditation scheme for fine food and drink. It supports, promotes and mentors artisan food producers large and small, who want to supply the UK independent retail sector and overseas stores selling fine food.
Great Taste offers a unique benchmarking and product evaluation service leading to an independent accreditation that encourages confidence and commercial success for small business, generating greater awareness for products locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Since 1994, more than 130,000 products have been put through this robust judging process. Each one is fastidiously blind-tasted by selected chefs, buyers, fine food retailers, restaurateurs, food critics and writers over 70 judging days.
We are delighted with this award.

Hello Honey Journal - Our Favourite Country House
Huge thanks to The Honey Journal for staying at Ballyvolane House and for featuring the house on their blog.
Founded in 2021, The Honey Journal is a place for women who value the restorative powers of a sunrise yoga session just as much as the healing powers of a night out in a sweaty nightclub with your closest pals. It’s is a space for women who like to keep their pulse on the latest trends but who also couldn’t care less. It is a contradiction and a constantly evolving space where anything goes.
“We’d been expecting a chic country escape, having read the amazing Tripadvisor reviews and seen the gorgeous Instagram posts but we really weren’t prepared for the wow factor of Ballyvolane House.”
Thanks for your support and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
