Malawi Orphan Appeal Fund Beer & Curry Feast, Friday July 22nd

- TICKETS: €49.50 per person, to include a bellini on arrival, the curry feast and a charity auction all in aid of the Malawi Orphan Appeal Fund.

We are delighted to host a charity ‘Beer & Curry Feast’ in the vintage tent in the gardens at Ballyvolane House on Friday, 22 July 2011. All proceeds will go towards Maggie Blackley’s Malawi Orphan Appeal Fund and we are expecting up to 150 people to attend.
Our friends Arun Kapil from Green Saffron, the Midleton based importers of fine Indian spices and Cormac O’Dwyer, the Head Brewer at the Dungarvan Brewing Company will be attending the event and taking about their wonderful products during dinner. Arun will be telling us what we are eating and Cormac will be pairing up his artisan beers with the curries. All the vegetables will come from the walled-garden at Ballyvolane House. We will be using Ballyvolane’s own Saddlebacks for the pork vindaloo, Michael McGrath’s lamb for the lamb Korma and the pollock for the fish curry is from Ballycotton Seafood.
