Bill Power ‘Doomed Inheritance’ Talk and Dinner
Historian and author Bill Power has recently published his latest book ‘Doomed Inheritance’ about the burning and looting of Mitchelstown Castle on the 12th and 13th of August 1922. It was the biggest house ever destroyed in Ireland. This book is the result of four decades of research by Bill, who has an unrivalled knowledge of this subject. We are delighted to have Bill at Ballyvolane House who will be giving a talk about these turbulent events in Ireland a century ago.
The evening will start at 7pm with a complimentary Bertha’s Revenge Rhubarb Martini cocktail following by the talk and dinner will be served afterwards in the dining room. We hope you will join us.
