Cheer up the beginning of your week
by sampling some of New Zealand's top wines and feasting
on superb food at Ballyvolane House’s third Supper Club
event. We are delighted to have Janine Tulloch of Martinborough
Vineyards with us to co-host the Winemakers Dinner. This distinguished
winery, located in the foot of North Island, is noted for producing
one of New Zealand's top Pinot Noirs. Janine will share
her passion and experiences with us as we sip our way through
6 different wines. A four-course spring menu will perfectly
compliment each of the wines served. It is a rare opportunity
to sample some of New Zealand’s top wines in a magnificent
setting at a great price.

Martinborough Vineyard is one of the four original vineyards established
in Martinborough, a premium New Zealand grape growing region.
Martinborough Vineyard, world famous for its award winning wines, specialises
in Pinot noir. The grapes are hand picked to ensure that only the best fruit
makes it to the bottle. Much of the wine making process is based on Burgundian
techniques which have produced some of the Worlds most complex and delicate red
wines for centuries.
A lesser-known story, however, has been the success of its other varieties. Over
the past few years Martinborough Vineyard has won acclaim for its Chardonnay,
Pinot gris, Sauvignon blanc, Riesling and Late Harvest Riesling. While the spotlight
has been on Pinot noir, these other wines have been slowly gathering prominence
and a strong following.
